Native Instruments Akoustik Piano: Sample Based Acoustic Piano product info by www.musicthingz.co.nz :

3 legendary grand pianos and a vintage upright on your desktop.

The Steinway D, Bechstein D 280, and Boesendorfer 290 Imperial grand pianos, plus the Steingraeber 130 vintage upright piano come together beautifully in Akoustik Piano. High-quality sampled sounds are expressive, precise, and very playable. Akoustik Piano covers the entire range of piano sounds and styles, transfusing the sonic characteristics and subtle tonal nuances of all 4 into your computer the perfect complement for studios, rehearsal rooms, schools, stages and clubs.

Authentic Sounds
Akoustik Piano sets a new benchmark for sound quality, capturing the full body and feel of the originals with unprecedented authenticity. The latest recording technology and a specially developed microphone setup was used for all 4 pianos. The result is a uniquely warm, transparent and flexible sound that delivers the same distinctive character of each individual piano in exacting detail and can still be adjusted to meet specific needs.

Plays Easy
Akoustik Piano plays and responds exactly as real pianos do. The keys were sampled at varying velocities and great care was taken to capture the entire sustain and release phases. The innovative Layer Morphing Technology generates a seamless dynamic gradient. The characteristic resonances caused by use of the pedals can be adjusted, as can the subtle mechanical noises of the pedals and keys themselves. From perfect pianissimo to forceful fortissimo, this instrument delivers the same breadth and depth of tone as the originals.

Add sounds to a space
Akoustik Piano has a first-class integrated convolution module, allowing highly authentic spatial characteristics to be added to the sound. Place the piano in a studio, jazz club, concert hall, or a cathedral or use the dry signal as it is. The acoustic parameters of these spaces, such as the size, can also be manipulated. From the close mic setup of a jazz combo to the more ambient nature of classic solo performance, Akoustik Piano covers the whole spectrum.

Dave,

I am in the band Orange Drink. We heard that you were looking for 10 bands. I would like to submit my band as one of the ten. The $500.00 upfront is no problem. All of our recording so far has been self produced. We would very much like to get an outside opinion during the recording of our music.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

Rob

Yes I can people that need their pieces orchestrated and produced. I have a degree in Media Music that involved classes such as songwriting, orchestration, music theory and etc.

Pricing really depends on how produced you want the final product to be. If you are mainly thinking of coming up with a piano accompainment, then it would be priced differently then a song with an orchestra and full band.

I am connected with many great musicians in the area that would be very affordable if you were interested in getting a song recorded with a whole band and etc. I generally charge around $35 an hour for work like this, but I give discounts if you are available during the week (Monday - Thursday) or mornings (except for Saturday).

Creating sheet music for piano and voice would be about $200 for it to be created into sheet music once the music is figured out. For just $50 more, we would also give you a recording of piano and voice. This would give you the option of making money off your music by selling C.D.'s (mp3's) and sheet music. The sheet music may also be made into a PDF format (free of charge) so that you can sell downloads of it from your website and etc.

I have written words and sung melodies to those words for many songs. I do not have the musical abilities to put accompaniment to them or to make sheet music. Basically, I just have song melodies and words in my head. Can you help people like me who need someone to put instrumentation and sheet music to what I've amaturely sung onto tapes to capture my words and melodies? If so, what kind of pricing are we looking at?

This is the best studio to work with. Dave is amazing and easy to get along with. He can make any band sound pro.

I would recommend Noisebox to anyone and everyone in Utah who needs to put out a CD or just has a hankerin' to be recorded.

Dave and Noisebox are where it's at!
